You have to be a dedicated car show person to endure 100+ temps and sit in a hot parking lot. Whew, makes me hot to think about it. Congrats on the rewards(trophies). It is always nice when others appreciate the hard work and dedication. It's all about the people, though, and I am sure you folks had a great time geeting together, no matter what the function. Nice looking bunch of cars. Maybe I'll make it up there next year for one of your functions when I have a few weekends off for a change. Working retail and weekend car shows don't mix. Jim
It was definitely hot but look forward to this show every year as there are so many awesome Fords without having to look at 10 Chevys and Mopars for every Ford you see at other shows. Not that I dont like looking at them as well but same thing over and over, nice change once a year.
I had a grreat time, and Tommy and I getting a plaque just put the icing on the cake! I did have a bit of a problem after I got home......house was over 100degrees when I walked in. A/C unit gave up. I called a 24hr repairman, he came out and put a starter cap in for the fan unit, put some freon in the system, changed the filter and only charged me $146 for the whole thing. House is nice and cool now! Take care, everybody!!!
Tommy, If you want to attend a large All Ford show, come to Ocala the 2nd weekend in January. The NPD show usually has over 1000 Fords on the grounds of the Silver Springs attraction. Last year was the exception to the rule, being so cold. It would have been huge under normal weather conditions, with over 1600 cars preregistered. Jim
Sounds great! Might try to pull it off but that is our busy time of year and usually on mandatory overtime from Jan to middle of March getting park ready to reopen. But thanks for the info and may try to get Vacation approved.

Those new wheels have made the difference on how good Earl's car looks. What a difference the right shoes can do for your ensemble. Before pic: After pic:
