Once I get jute in that fender, and put the backseat armrest panels back in, much of that fuel pump sound should disappear. More so when I jute the trunk.
Scott, my pump was that loud while I was doing my interior also. I juted the back and the area behind the sidepanels in the rear. I am thinking of installing a light to tell me my pump is on, it is that quiet now.
Under the trunk. It is mounted on rubber mounts and fastened through the bulkhead that the fuel tank sits in.
Silenced the fuel pump... I took my fabric car cover and shoved it in the space between the outer rear quarter panel and the trunk...that triangular shaped hole on the side of the trunk floor. Can't hear the pump now. Just figured you would like a quick fix for quieting those down. Also, installed the exhaust professionally and have new sound clips at http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?t=34454&highlight=Super
