I would HATE to not do it, but if I decide to go with a standard Maverick front end, would anyone be interested in buying the Drag-N-Fly nose and rear spoiler?

Not a whole Drag-N-Fly, but an original, NOS nose and rear spoiler.

i know you wanted to go with somehing a little wild for the nose but if your going back the original grabber frone end i say good move, the reason is being in the industry for while the wild cars are neat the more resto moded cars are time less almost and pepole get to notice the work and craftsmanship more when there not blinded by somthing wild

you got to much time and work into it i would want the fabrication to get noticed and not the nose you know what i mean

still a great project good luck

Thanks. I'll probably have some new artwork done for the new version. I've thought similarly. I REALLY wanted to build it with the Drag-N-Fly nose, but I'm thinking that still looking like a Maverick may garner more attention since one hasn't been done Pro-touring to this extreme that I know of. It won't have a Viper V-10, but the rest of it will certainly be wild. If no one buys the Drag-N-Fly pieces, I may still build a nose that I can change to in the future if I want, or use on another Maverick project.

And it could be done on a much lower budget by making it appear it was a factory prototype like those Torino King Cobras, or as an actual NASCAR racer.

ok for one im kinda curious about the asking price on the drag n fly kit. secondly what happened to using the z car nose? ive been trying to follow it off and on. if i can get my hand on a two door i would like to give the super grabber a shot.

$1000 OBO on the Drag-N-Fly nose and tail. The Drag-N-Fly nose resembles the Z-car nose but I never considered actually using a Z-car nose. I'm still leaving my options open about using the Drag-N-Fly parts. If I don't sell them, I will likely work on a whole nose (either a one-piece tilt front or a 2-piece pro-front) using the Drag-N-Fly piece and switch to it later.
