Suspension, rear end...

    If you are gonna replace the leaf springs you should replace the shackles and bushings as well. You can get them at www.autokrafters.com Once you have the rear end out it's not hard to remove the "pig" and clean up the surfaces and install a new gasket. Also consider doing the rear brake lines, especially the flex line from the hard line on the body to the rear end housing. The bolts holding the shackles to the frame and springs will be hard to loosen. PB Blaster a rust disolver will work awsome in those areas. But you may even need to heat up the nuts with a torch to loosen them. If you take your time and approach it one step at a time you will be able to complete this and your mav will be oh so happy.
