Jason, I'm not sure which year lenses have T-Bird logos on them but it's not 64. My lenses and bezels are from a 64 T-Bird which is the same one Carroll Shelby used for the 68 Shelby. All they have on them is the year (64) and a small FoMoCo logo.

hmmm, I know there is one year of t-bird that has the emblem on the lense. When I bought the taillight buckets I used off e-bay they came complete with the lenses and bezels, the taillight lense that came with that had a big chrome t-bird logo in the middle of it, I thought this was off of a 64. The bezels that you have I thought were from a 65 t-bird, and of course the shelby mustang. I don't know. Anybody else know what year t-bird had these same type of lights but with a t-bird logo on them?

I did some looking around and found some pictures, I was curious. Here is a picture of a 64 t-bird, or so this website said at least. It has the t-bird emblem in the center of the lense, and it has the chrome outer bezel like on my car.

And here is a picture of a 65 t-bird, it has the normal lense and the bezel with the vertical bars like the shelby.

I know this is a little behind but I was reading through this thread and I thought I'd throw my two cents in.... Both cars look great!

And as the pictures show the 64 (and I believe the 65) T-bird has the chrome center piece. The '66 T-Bird has a Chrome T-Bird Emblem that goes over the center lense. I have a '66 T-Bird and trust me - you don't want to fork out the cash to buy that center piece and emblem! I actually found '66 T-Bird outet lenses NOS through my local ford dealer....for what it's worth.

    Great Mod guys!

Love them T-bird tail lights. I also like how you notched the rear valance for the tail pipes...

You are exactly right.I guess I was confused by the 64 stamping on my lenses. :slap: I thought maybe some models of the T-Bird may have used them in 64 but I looked at photos of about 10 different 64's and they all had the emblems. :hmmm:Oh well, I guess it doesn't hurt to be wrong once in my life, huh?
    Thanks

I know this is 8 years old but I must say that this t-bird/shelby/cougar tail light convention is my personal favorite. It saddens me to see this every time because I want it that bad haha. I'm currently looking for a kit I can order to do this but they never seem to look quite as good:tiphat:
Rays looks amazing too but I'm not as skilled to do anything like that

I love the way its squared off on the sides. All the ones I see have that slight curve on the outside
