I will be doing a T5 swap shortly once I collect all the needed parts. My cars is a 1972 Maverick Grabber with factory floor shift, factory bucket seats, and factory v8. The original engine and trans is sitting on a shelf in my garage as I built a 302 roller motor for it.

So far, I have only purchased the clutch pedal, spring, and spring bracket. I plan on purchasing the conversion cable for a mustang from Mustang Steve.

What other parts do I need?
    Z bar? Equalizer Rod?

    thank you in advance

If using the t5 bell housing...you can use factory clutch linkage with this kit.

Mustang Steve can answer your questions. Do not rule out using the cable conversion. Also, a hydraulic set up is pretty slick.
I retained the 5.0 bell housing and used the cable conversion from Mustang Steve. Flywheels for the 5.0 clutches are available.
My T5 conversion was done on a 1968 Cougar.

TRA-670-524 is the part number. All it is a 1"x1"x2" block of aluminum for the fork fulcrum to take care of the one inch deeper t5 bellhousing and two countersink bolts. The aluminum spacer is mounted 1" from the edge of the opening. http://1bad6t.com/Maverick/maverick_51.html
