Is it correct that a 1975 Maverick was not available with power brakes and a manual transmission ?
Also, in order to install a T5 transmision, you must convert to manual brakes ?
    Thanks

Manual brakes are all that’s needed on these cars; if they’re in good shape car stops just fine. One advantage pb, maybe lower brake pedal. I have a 1/4” spacer between Mc & firewall lowering my pedal; some use adjustable pushrod.

Unless I'm missing something, the only reason I could see manual brakes being necessary is if the power booster interfered with the clutch linkage. There are ways around this.

NO Mavericks ever came with power disc brakes AND a manual transmission. With the offset of the power disc brake rod, the clutch rod will not work ad it would interfere. As stated, I am sure there is a work around.

Has anyone had experience with installing a T5 into a 1975 Maverick with power brakes ?
If so, what is the work around ?
    Thanks
