Tach Location Suggestions?

    Tach Location

    Since I quit smoking eons ago .. I removed the ashtray and mounted the tack at that location ..I bolted the tach to in inner areas of the astray sides .. look at it closely and you can figure it out. Mounted tachs on the last two cars I owned..Now I'm building my own panel for the speedo and the tach is next to it where the old gauge panel used to be. I'll send pictures if you're interested.
    Just a thought..If you don't smoke .. you won't miss the ashtray..I mounted it "close" so the space beneath it wasn't that noticable.
