I believe either way looks gud. It's just a matter of what u think looks best. I don't think u cud go wrong with either choice esp., w/ red car. Here is pix of my comet tail panel. I know it's a little different from the mav's. I don't know if the tailight bezels were originally bright - this is how it was when I got it. The only change I will make is going from flat to semi-gloss; maybe a mix of semi and gloss.
Whatever you do, do NOT do this...got the taillights already painted black, and tried to tie them in with black bumper and spoiler. Have regretted it ever since.
same here mav75 I don't mind the look. looks like your working towards a monochrome blackout job and that's fine in my book.
