    Hello! Just wanted to say that I love your Maverick and have been carrying a picture of it in my wallet to show people when they say a Maverick can't look like a muscle car!
    Anyway to my question;
    I like the taillights on your car and was wondering if you could tell me how you put them in. Any pic's you have of this would be great!
    Thanks in advance!
    Scott:D

    On the first car we mounted them to the tail panel centering them and cutting a larger hole. This looks pretty good but, it still kinda looks like an add on because the light is bigger than the raised area on the tail panel.

    On the new car we flattened out the area where the tail lights would mount leaving the raised part between the lights. This makes the tail light look like they came with the car.

    To do this I cut with a plasma where the lights would set. Welded in a flat peice of sheet metal and bondoed it. Then cut the new light holes, drilled the mounting holes. Not real hard just time consuming just a note when welding sheetmetal I used smal tack welds not solid this reduces worping.
