if your only runnin 14's you shouldnt be running 114 octane. thats for high hp and compression motors. i run 110 in mine and its got aound 13:1 compression. i run mid 7s in the 1/8th

If my 51 F-1 sells I am probaly going to build a 351w very similiar to yours for my maverick. The only difference on mine will be a bigger cam and flattops. If it will run like yours does I would be very happy.

yea they fit good ,i bought them used at a swap meet ,i was told for a cougar the guy new his stuff said they would fit a maverick also, there might have been a ding around the steering box i think its very tight, but remmber, i have my shock towers back 2 1/2 inches, i can change plugs super easy, none are hard to get at, i can change them in 15 mins

mine are cut back also for easy changing.. but i was just wondering if they fit well. like Jhodges mentioned, it would be nice to save a little $$$ vs. the crites headers.

    thanks for the info
