In just over 2 months. I've posted about it before, but that was a month ago and I have made several changes to the outside like adding a front hood lip trim and putting on a much nicer front bumper which I got a killer deal on from Coupe3w on this site. I've also done alot of touch up work with the best matching Wal-Mart spray can I could find.

This car was truly built on a budget. I have $350 in it as it sits.

I also have the interior mostly finished which you can see on the 3rd page at this link: http://5hp.hill.cc/maverick/72Mav

Clint, I hope you see this and are pleased. :)

You sure you wanna part that one out? you could always fix the damage so its a good daily driver since the grabber is gonna be a racer, and use another one for parts.

My own personal junkyard in my grandpa's fields. (y) $350 includes the original cost of the car too.

I'm never going to completely part the car out, but I will pull a few cosmetic parts back off of it in a few years. It will remain my daily driver for years and years to come. It would take more work to make it into what I want to eventually build then the '74 would. And the '74 is still a real Grabber with all original papers and entire history known back to the day it was bought new. I think I'm about dead set on putting an SHO Taurus motor in the '74, small bumper conversion, and repainting it back the original white with green stripes.

My '76 shell is the one thats going to get tubbed with a blown big block... ...some day... when I won't kill myself with that kind of power...

$350??? Holy crap!!! Thats awsome. I seriously doubt there is an equal out there. My 71, that I paid $300 originally, is pretty much on the same level as yours, but now has $600 into it. Thats too cool!

Jamie, that is great. I'd like to point out that Jamie is still in high school. I don't know many people who could accomplish that in 2 months, regardless of age.

    Good job.
