tom, glad to hear that your trip was a success. Jay, if you start right now I'll catch up to you about july.
Thanks for all the nice coments. I will be honest I love this car but, it scares the crap out of me. Alot of things i have done on this car are a first for me.
do you have any engin modds? and if so what? btw that car is just so great...its honestly piece of art!

Thack. I can't remember - has your car been any national car magazine? If not, it's certainly deserved. If someone held a gun to my head and demanded that I suggest one minor change or ask me what I would differently, I'd think I'd add ground effects to the rear to match the theme of the other features (see shotty edited pic attached). Again, I don't think it's 'needed', just a thought. With the power that beauty is putting out, I assume you've done some changes to the drive-line? In my opinion, you've built a legendary Maverick that will be around looong after were all gone.
Nope no Magazine Jeff Kouch who did Tammy's car for Hot Rod is intrested but his current job said it was to modified ( Hemmings muscle car) Drive line is Fidanza aluminum flywheel, Ford Racing king cobra clutch, 91 t-5 upgraded to a 2.95 first close ratio. 2.5" steel drive shaft (couldn't fit the 3.5 aluminum drive shaft), 86 Jaguar JX6 IRS rear end with dana type 3 posi. 3.73 gears cross drilled inbaord disc and quad coil overs (the disc and coilovers are stock for this rear end). I'm not sure if it's legendary but, thanks for the comments.
I'm still working on the interior but here are some pictures as it sets today. I still have to recover the dash and make some trim pieces that hide the seam this trim will continue down the arm rest and cover the bolt holes. The center A/C register will have the maverick horns incorperated in the bezel wth the vents shaped to match.
I can understand you being somewhat humble when reading all of these great comments but don't ever sell yourself short on what you have truly accomplished building this car. What your car has does for me is stopped me from ever saying "that is good enough" when re-doing my own car. It is quality workmanship and I think that it makes me drill that hole a little straighter or sand that panel a little smoother. I apprieciate seeing all of the work that you done.
