Texas Maverick/Comet Owners

At one time perhaps lol..

 

My dad did have a mobile home in Gun Barrell for quite a while. We used to go to a restauraunt that had the word beans in it.. Bean and burger or something like that lol. It was good. Best rib eye sandwich I ever ate.

 

The pattern, at first, was that all of the Texas Mav/Com owners were in the Dallas/Fort Worth region. That pattern is now shot.

A mini meet would be cool but I was just really curious as to where everyone is here in Texas.

And where did I screw up on the locations? I'm only as good as Google Map.

 

Bean and burger co. They have pretty good stuff.

 

zorares, that is cool, what you are doing. I am really surprised, seeing it on a map, how many are in dallas and San Antonio area, and not as many in houston.

I highly recommend making the drive to Katy for the Grace Church Car Show coming up in October. Great bunch of guys and always a good showing of cars. Even if you don't bring your maverick/comet. The show gets bigger each year, and there are always Houston Rockets players and football players showing up with their rich rides.

I have had contact from owners all over the DFW area that have contacted me for parts. Alot that don't come to our forum.

Areas that have not responded:
Mansfield, More in Arlington and Grand Prairie, McKinney, Keller (3), Springtown, Rockwall and more I am sure.

Don't post these. I'll will try to pass this tread on to them.

Thanks! I thought it would be cool to see where everyone is and maybe it would help with planning meets.

I'd love to go to Katy but I have a big family get together that weekend. Almost an excuse to get out of it. Besides, I'd like a little more time to work on my baby before I let you guys see her.

 

I'm from the tip of Texas, Brownsville and I know two other Maverick owners.

That is exactly why we never see most of the Maverick/Comet. We like to see our car in any condition, even on trailers. JMO.

LOL! I agree. But at the moment, I have to pass inspection so I can get the title transferred. Hopefully this weekend! It took forever to fix the lights.

 

I didn't think I seen anyone post from Laredo.. Not really a screw up. Just curious who's where like you..

Does anybody from the Valley (Brownsville,Harlingen ,Mcallen Texas) area own any Mavericks. I've only seen two mavericks in Brownsville. We need more Mavericks in the Valley. Jerry
