Howdy! It won't be long before we have our annual Texas Mini-Meet! The 2008 Texas Mini-Meet will be held once again in conjunction with The Heart of Texas Mustang's All Ford Roundup on Saturday September 27, 2008. Its official then. Target date for Mav road-trip readiness has been updated to accommodate. Looks like the same place to me. It got pretty warm out there last year. I may have to bring a cooler and shade to stay... cooler.
I will have to hurry if I want to bring my car. It will be on a trailer even if not ready, but I would like it to at least roll under it's own power. If she can't go on the trailer without driving it on, it ain't coming with me. I'll be there regardless...
If yours aint runnin by then, let me know. You can meet at my place and ride down with me. That brings up an idea. Lets start a campaign to get as many of us from N.Tx to caravan/carpool down as we can. We need to sort the forum User DB by location and send a blanket email to all TX users about the meet. Can we do that?
The hitch hike down sounds good, if I need to. Thanks for the offer. I don't know about how to send a blanket message to people...I imagine it could be done, just need to sit down and think about it. I have seen a thread that shows where people live but it's been awhile and I am sure there are some who have moved in and out... I will try and find it and see if I can reserect it. I think I remember that you couldn't modify it if you moved so it may be worthless. Sending you a PM.
It would be nice if you could sort the member list by location but you cant. Perhaps Stefan cant help with that. I'll shoot him a note.
I am in for a convoy from the North Texas area if I can get a driver I might bring 2 cars I'm in this year
