And just how is my .019 light to her .109 light getting my ass handed to me, Junior? I did my job, car didn't do it's job. Pretty simple. Maybe you'd like to come try it.

And no, Rick, it has nothing to do with that. I've beaten her damn near everywhere this past season. That kind of thing is going to happen sooner or later when you're not using your own race car.

Still.....five wins, two runner-ups, two semi-finals, and one rain out. With rental cars. Wouldn't it be interesting to see what might happen if I had MY OWN car to play with. You know....something I could go test with and practice with every time the track opened instead of learning a new car at each race. :evilsmile

i dont know id have to say id be pretty cocky after winning ultrastang , in a rental , never the same car , takes a bit of driving skill to do that. most guys get use you there cars and know how to and when/what its goin to do...go try to race a different car every time , i have a good deal of respect for someone that wins a championship , all im saying is, its prolly NOT luck why SM won ultrastang(y)

Well ShadowMaster, whatever car you go with if you run Mod-Comp class I hope I don't have to line up against you until the final round.
I'll be at Richmond and Bristol in 07 so look me up. I hope I'm the only pearl white Maverick there with 69 Shelby tail lights.

Good Luck on the new drag car, but M/C doesn't pay very well either.

Yeah....not like Mod Motor used to pay. When I bought my '98 GT to run M/M back in 2001 the payout was $7500 to win and $2000 to runner up. I paid for that car ($16K) in that one season with my winnings. Now days....it'd take three seasons. :(
