    I wouldn't go through downtown Atlanta, unless you just want to. Just take I-75 South to I-285 West and follow it around, pick back up on I-75 on the south side of Atlanta. It'll add about 5 miles to your trip, but I can almost guarantee it'll be quicker, I-285 should be smooth sailing at that time on a Saturday morning.
