So this is going to be my thread following my maverick rebuild and upgrade project. i hope it adds some laughs and useful info where needed. going to post some pics as i go and some links to some videos ill be doing time goes forward. already got some footage and hopefully ill edit some on a rest day.

until then, here are some pics of whats happened so far.

Woooooo!! is a reference to ric flair. hes always been my idol and hes having a rough time right now, so flair will always be part of this build. youll see how that happens soon.

heres what i started with in 2015. was pretty much almost perfect. has a few paint chips as the repaint years before i bought it either got dinged or adhesion wasnt the best, but still about a 95% decent job.

Shouldn't this be in the "Garage" portion of the mmb?

Will you be tying those into a factory air cleaner?

nope. just for looking more real and letting heat escape at a light. will be running round open face air cleaner so itll pull in more than the scoops anyway. air coming through the grill at hwy speeds is the same as the scoops. if theres any difference i dont think itll make much difference with what im doing.
