Bending them is easy, getting them to go where you want them is the pain in the butt!!!

this is NOT part of the series, but rather a regular how to video for the masses, but towards the end you can hear the 302 running.

Slow go as of late but im almost done. I got the rust flushed from the block and used the old radiator until all ran clean with waterhose as it was running and petcock open. Took 2 treatments of the prestone flush for a total of about 2 weeks with system wet with it as i tuned and tinkered around.

So i got new champion rad on. And finally got the lokar throttle cable installed. After thinking about it i decided the easiest way to install the cabke would be simply using a combination of stock cable and lokars adjusters and connection piece.

I removed factory cable from the factory sleeve and cleaned it with pb blaster. Then i cut factory cable sleeve to length leaving it as was at the fire wall. Then i simply reinstalled cable into sleeve and cut to length and hooked it up to carb. Got full throttle range after 2 adjustments.

Only problem i have is the connector linkage to throttle had to be crimped more to keep from popping off linkage. Hopefully its on tight enough now.

Gotta get bumper and hood back on tomorrow and have front alignment done wednesday. If the trans works im done. Will test drive tomorrow for a few easy miles.

NOT an episode, but a Cold Start vid trying to pull in new viewers using key words. most dont use a choke in their vids, but i did. enjoy.

also when i get the time to film a better video ill have another episode ready to go showing the 302 running down the road.

Purple hornies bring back some fond memories, lots of fun with some of the older car alarms going off when you pass by them . Next best thing to having open headers
