Man, who resurrected this old thread. Cam changes was due to trusting my friend who sold me the heads, saying the correct valve springs were installed. Cam 1 totally wiped out all lobes. Installed correct springs but still wiped out 2 lobes on cam 2. Dont know why. Finally said f*** flat tappet cams and converted to roller for cam 3. Been running great ever since.

Now you have inspired me Dennis to look at getting a Sprint. Great job, awesome car. Damn....I just got the 70 Grabber last Thursday & now I'm going to look at a 72 Sprint tomorrow. Wish me luck, I might get it. As usual, it came to me. I wasn't looking yet. Will post pictures if I get it.

The covers came on all the seats. Most fall off over the years and get lost.

Maverick-Matt.....that's the Sprint I'm going to look at this morning. It does look good in the picture. Will let you know how good it is. He saw our Mini Meet in Renton (all the Mavs) & called me on it last night.

Dennis, I must say, you are truly an inspiration. It's great to see people that love their cars so much these days, and I think that you are an awesome example of the type of quality that a lot of people on here could never afford.:D
So my I add my hat to the crowd, and humbly ask.................CAN I Drive it????????? :D :D

    Great job Dennis (y)
