    FEs were made for around 20 years.
    Compare that to Clevelands being produced for 4.

    There should be MANY more FEs out there.
    Not only were FEs made for many years before the Cleveland, they were still made after the Cleveland was discontinued.

    Trivia:

    The FE family had a 352 cubic inch version.
    When the "Windsor" came out in 69, the 352s were still coming to the dealerships for service.
    So, the new 352 was called a 351 to avoid confusion!
    Then they came out with another 352 the next year!
    That is what we now know as the 351c

    FE= Friggin' Ears! (as in the ears that often break off or strip out on the heads when doing exhaust work on an FE engine.

    Ratio,

    That's a great point. I guess what was most surprising when I found these were the cars that they were in, 20 years older than most everything else in these yards. The company that owns the yards I go to cycles through the cars pretty quick, so seeing anything from the 60s is always a treasure hunt. It may be that only 10% of the cars there are from the 70s, too.
