My only addition to thread would be to watch your flywheel horsepower on a stock roller block. They like to split, if your serious I would start out with a nice block and build aroud that. 347+ boost+ stock block= BOOM eventually, protect your investment in parts with the right block for your horsepower range from the start.

well not really sure the car is in alot worse shape that stated but i gave the guy $400 for it. i think what is going to happen is i will use it as a parts car for the original donor car since the body on the original donor car is in much better condition than this one i need to come up with a game plan and then go from there on what i want to do. anything left over i will be selling so if you guys need parts from a 72 grabber let me know what you need if its left over ill sell it to ya for cheap.

You should be able to use a screwdriver to open the truck with a missing cylinder.

If it's a 72 Grabber, does it have ythe hood with the 2 scoops in it. If so, these hoods in good condition sell for about what you paid for the car. They only came on 71 and 72 Grabbers. My car is a 71 Grabber and I switched to a fiberglass hood. I've kept mine to use on another car, but you can always try it on ebay and recoup some of your money.:)

no its not an actual grabber hood. i went over and looked at the other one and i think it would be best to just yank the motor and trans and anything else i need and then part it out. the floor boards behind the driver are completely rotted through and the passenger side front is soft. along with all the body damage i think it would be the best kinda deal.

i read where car craft took a 91 5.0 block and made 405 horsepower with the stock bottom end including hte 5.0 stock cam the money was spent on AFR 165cc heads 1.7 roller rockers ,stealth intake,a small 625 demon jr carb with tri-y headers ,that just gives u an idea of what a stock 5.0 can do with bolt ons ,change the cam and a little more compression ,bigger carb and who knows what it would pull out
