thinking of buying a '75 comet

Thanks for the tip Don. I just happened to be reading this thread, and got to you're reply about checking for a leaky cowl. I just bought a 76 to fix up, and have noticed water leaking from under the dash on rainy days. I was afraid it might be the cowl, but wasn't sure what to do about it if it was. I just took you're advice and dumped a pitcher of water down the cowl vents and guess what no leaks.(Thank Heaven) It turned out to be a dry rotted windshield gasket. Thanks again for the tip.
