That's messed up. Parted out a 77' Lincoln once, probably should have grabbed that one. I would like to get my hands on a telescopic column.
I put a 72 Mustang tilt in mine.Easy swap.As far as needing one.Don't you guys like to play like you're driving a semi with it all the way up,or scoot down in the seat and drop it low and and act like a home'y.Just kidding,I'm horizontally challenged for my height.Tilt wheel keeps me from getting rub marks on my shirts.Easier to move the wheel up than lose weight.
yes, it swings off towards the center of the car. they came on some early t-birds, not sure what else. I had one in a 69 t-bird, was kinda cool.
I believe it was just another gimick at the time, but it did make getting in a bit easier on the t-bird. on another note, it sure looks odd when the column is sitting off to the side, moved up and over(looks broke, til you realize its suposed to be that way)
I dye my hair and beard white every winter...I have been St. Jude Santa, Enchanted Forest Goldsmiths santa, La Bonner Childrens Hospital Santa, for over 20 years, on and off...I love doing it...now I just don't have to do the dye job, lol. Gotta love those kids...Its MY blessing every year....Jim OOps!!! sorry to change subject on thread...
Dan, is that any way to speak to your father? My problem is more of the natural pillow between me and the wheel.
i didnt like they position the wheel was at it was too low for me so when i installed the bucket seat i just grinded of like 2" of the rails perfect fit
