tire to leaf spring distance...

    I'm about an hour north of you in the Antelope Valley, and street racing is alive and well with all the drapstrips closed. Oh by the way I'm no spring chicken myself. LOL

    The setup i'm shooting for I utilizing everything the stock wheel tub has to offer, the setup you are showing there would be more for a mini tub setup. Too move the string that far inboard the front spring would maybe be inline with the rear frame rail? This could certainly work for you if that the direction you want to go. How much power are you planning to make with this car?

    Not really sure, but in the end when I have completed them car the way I have planned I would like to put a 351w punched to 427ci nor sure how much hp I will aim for but do know I want to run the equivalent to the Cleveland head with canted valves and a solid roller cam

    I am also planning on a 427w with a progressive NOS system. I was looking to run a hyd roller with a single stage plate system up to 250-300 hp. I have wedge AFR heads, but love to see canted valve heads!

    They make after market Cleveland style head made to bolt on to Windsor motors with proper oil and water passages

    Yeah, I plan to use a set of the Cleveland TFS or Edelebrock heads to a boss 302 clone i'm building.

    Have you finished moving the springs and installing the 8.8? How much room did it give you? What size rim/tire did you fit underneath? What was the rim offset that worked the best?

    Bringing this back from the dead. How is the kit? I think im going to call mike up to see if he still makes them.
    I have my leafs sliders and cal tracs already.
