I have a set of 14" rims but im really worried about what size i wanna get. some people have told me to go wider on the back. the question is what's the widest and tallest i can go without having any problems when driving my maverick?? both front and back?? i would really appreciate your comments. there is a thread on here that list all the sizes that will fit...try a search and see if you can find it.

I've ran...275/60/15s...on the back of my car with no rubbing.

The back-space measurement of the wheel is what mostly determines the widest tire you can run.

As for height, I would not suggest much more than 26-1/2 inches.

I find the...width of the rim... plays a big part...too wide and the sidewall will balloon and make a wider section width.

Those are not wheel "covers"....those are wheels.

Oh. That is a wheel center or cap. I see Maverick ones on ebay from time to time. They are repopped, but only with a Mustang center.

I run 275/60-15 out back and 235/60-15 up front. The fronts rub when hitting a dip while making a hard turn. I may run a spacer to eliminate this.

I run 26x6x15 Mickey Thompson's up front and 26x10x15 Mickey's on the rear. Could have went maybe 1" to 2" wider on the rear as long as I didn't go taller.
