Congratulations on the Comet. Good luck in your pursuit, too.

Well guys I had a fun day visiting my mom and dad. What can I say about the car but WOW! There a very few dings but all can be easily fixed. There is a little rust on the bottom of the drivers door and one little spot on the right front fender. My dads friend who has been restoring cars for quite a few years commented how awesome the car was and that Tom gave him a great deal. The car sounds great too. I love the rumble of the 302. That actually leads me to a question. What kind of exhaust would you guys reccomend? I think he wants something that rumbles but isn't obnoxious. I loved the car as soon as I pulled up in the driveway. It makes me even more anxious to find my Mav now. Well here are a few pics.

I'm just as jealous as you! I have to drive almost 2 hours to see it and hear it run. I couldn't even drive it because he hasn't registered it yet. Plus it's not mine! :rofl2::biglaugh::rofl2::rofl:

I want some side rocker moldings like those on the car.
I also want my car color just a bit darker...I need to know what color yall have there. Shoot, even that color would be fine...
Let me know if your dad starts tearing anything out, looks like a perfect donor for my car. :biglaugh:

Are you talking about the molding that runs on top of the fenders, and even with the door handle? If so I think at some point he is going to be taking those off. I'll let you know (it won't be for a while) when he does and maybe he'll make you a deal on them. :thumbs2:

The only thing I would change is the mirror(s).

Tom gave him some GT mirrors that are close to the same color as the car. He might have them color matched and painted.
