LUKE! go with some side pipes! no just kidding i like the kinda lakewood look and i bet it will sound good
I say no for a couple reasons............... 1 If you ever blow a motor, head gasket, or whatever else you may end up pushing water or oil out the exhaust directly in front of your rear tires. No big deal at idle, huge deal if running down the strip or a "spirited run". I would hate to loose a car over side exhaust before the tires :-/ 2. Nice wheels are hard enough to keep clean and shiny, no need to be blowing exhaust all over them and make it more of a PITA. Even dumps, I try and and "angle inward" in hopes of keeping it from under the tires. But I prefer full exhaust when ever possible. Just my .02
even with dumped exhaust if you blow a head gasket the watter will still hit the tiers ?? i say do it but with different tip's PIC'S http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/ind...ure&friendID=232996375&albumId=1532878&page=2 this is my exhaust on my 70 mav
basically the same as having them out the rear ?? how much were those mufflers $$$$$$ and they wouldn't fit right on and you would still have to add more piping $$$$$ my full exhaust with headers and 1- 70 dollar 40 series flomaster muffler cost me $-300
I didnt payfor it, it was already on the car, i went from that system to straight pipes with 2 glasspacks to glasspacks right off the headers Ill just dump them out the side, i dont care how low it hangs, it will make it over the speed bumps.
