Trans problem(?) with reassembly

    I will give that a try. I will also re-read that website with the suggestions for modifying the valve body, and see what the other suggested modifications were. I might find that undoing one or two of the thing I did will firm up my shift, and undo the slip. I used the #4 (out of 5) most aggressive modifications, according to the site. I might be able to back off to 2 or 3.

    I re-read the website, and I am pretty sure I put the accumulator valve in backwards, not just spring first...which is why I was worried that it bottomed out and stayed open when I reassembled it. I will turn that around and see if it fixes the problem.

    I sure will have nice clean trans fluid when I am done with this :bananaman

    And new seals on my linkage, and a pan drain-plug.
