Transporting surfboard on the mav?

    i surf and all i do is bungy it down or if i am lucky steal my dads straps and strap it down. i surf with a 5'11 board

    hey dude i use to live at fernadina beach and surf , my family is from hilliard fl,nice to see someone from close to where im from , i use to go to jax to surf but the waves werent to good when i was there

    the waves still suck at jax beach but i go to the jetties out in mayport or st. augustine

    I pretty much quit surfing a couple years ago. In the past few years, I have been to CA several times, Puerto Rico, Guam, and Hawaii twice, so now that I am back on the gulf coast, the waves have to be pretty decent for me to even waste my time. If they aren't head-high and clean, I take out the jet ski and jump em instead.

    I have a 6'-6" Rusty Kompressor as my "daily ride" but before that I use a 6-4 Rusty hi-po that I got at LaJolla MANY years ago. It now has straps on it and waiting for the next hurricane or big surf so my dad can tow me in...
