Thanks!! Those would be some great 60 foot times!! The car doesn't have any type of traction bars on it. It does have a mini spool in it so it does spin both tires with the 3.40 gears.
The torquer intake is no better then stock,,i had one and changed to a rpm...it picked up half a second in quarter
Went to MIR yesterday to the legends race & it was a good turn out.Talked to Gary for a little while,he is getting 9.60s out of his car right now & his son is turning the same with his Ranger P/U.Only stayed until 7:00 because of a bad crash & some oil downs & just wanted to get home before 3:00 am.Did not talk to her but there was a girl there that DROVE her Mav to the track & turned 11.58 in practice & in eliminations, saw her go 2 rounds, car sounded great through full exhaust, she did not drop the mufflers.
It didn't happen to be one of these Maverick's did it? I saw these at MIR a couple of years ago at the NMRA race. IIRC the copper color car was driven by a girl and it ran in the 11's.
Yes that was her car,it was very impressive. She cut good lights & the car ran really strong.I don`t know what she has for power but out through the exhaust it sounds REALLY HEALTHY,chops hard.If you ran her on the street you better have a very fast car.I meant to go over & look at the car & talk to her but I was very tired from so much driving the last 3 days & spent most of my time in the stands, just was not up for all the walking.I don`t know if this is her home track or not but I would like to see the car again.
MIR is in Maryland. I talked to her when I took the pictures. IIRC she was running a stroked 351W. The car sounded great. She was running the car in the True Street class when I was there.
Then that is why it is running so good,I did not think it was a 302,it just has too much power.I`d also be willing to bet it has a strong 9in & a well built c4.
