This is what I used ... http://www.rightlook.com/browseproducts/3M-Plastic-and-Emblem-Adhesive.html I had an NOS emblem but 30 year old adhesive was shot. Leave the original black backing on the emblem and then use a small paint brush to "paint" the adhesive on. Place the emblem and then using masking tape to hold in place .. let dry overnight and you are good to go ..
