trunk?

    The mav is gone but i'm still here!
    does anybody know how to level a trunk? Mine is like lifted from the right side and is not leveled right.

    Are you talking about the trunk it'self, or the trunk lid?:huh:

    1977 Maverick 2 door with a 302.
    The trunk hidges are adjustable. Losen the one bolt on the back of the hinge closest to the back glass, lower the lid down until it latches, then push down on the corner that is sitting up too high until it is level with the other side. Open the lid back up and retighten the bolt.

    i find it easier.....shut my son in the trunk with a ratchet...shut the trunk and tell him to tighten the bolts....

    helpful to give helper a flashlilght and a few bucks.... and not in the dead of summer....

    and open the trunk when the banging starts or they wont help next time.... hasnt happened to me...but my friend forgot to open the trunk right away...and now his son wont go near the trunk....LOL

    i would like to post sum but i only have a pic of the left side cuz my camera is still messed up and i dont have money to buy another
