Hey welcome to the website. So I have 3 inch inlet and outlet on the intercooler. It JUST fits under the bracket with no modification. I wish I could of tucked the intercooler up more. Believe I have a tread stone 1035 intercooler if I remember right.

as far as the intercooler brackets themselves I have two L brackets going straight back. The brackets are for bmw horns. Lol. Seems to be secure.

Also for what it’s worth I have the small bumper brackets. Not sure if you are converting to that style. Forgot how big the factory 73 brackets are.

original 73 brackets are huge lol , i have 2 small bumpers that i looked at placing on it but my intercooler location must be lower than yours i cant get original brackets in there . i pulled out all the heavy stuff in the 73 bumper and i have made some flat plate to go under the piping and some angle to bolt to the frame

Looks like the inlet and outlet are higher on your intercooler than mine. I don’t have a lot of room between the lower valance and the intercooler and the brackets. But it works. Lol.

On mine. The intercooler outlet and inlet are sandwiched between the bracket and the valance. Not sure how much you can drop your intercooler. I struggled like hell to find a intercooler that would fit these small front ends.

Small update. Changed my grill lens from the amber to the clear. It’s a small touch but I enjoy it. I hope to get my intercooler powder coated this week.
Also found that the powder coat shop I used moved about 20 minutes closer to me. I am thinking especially once things start returning to normal they will be getting a lot more of my money. Lol. B8BA65AC-3065-4FAE-AEF2-2128256FA0C5.jpeg

BD85F1F0-F25A-45AD-B7D7-C280746A66DD.jpeg Made some more changes to the front end. All subtle. Maverick people would probably be the only ones the spot some of them. Lol

B43CCA12-C443-4B11-8E49-291F88FF1A99.jpeg Small update. Got the new set up dyno tuned and down the track. I’m very pleased. Previously on fitech it ran 10.96. Going to be changing rear gear and a few other small things. Hope to get it closer to 10.00.

Changed the rear gear from a 3.27 to a 3.55. Should be pretty nice with the turbo set up. Hoping to put some mileage on it and possibly go to the track tomorrow.
Also decided to see what the rear would look like without the color match bumper and black out bob cat tail lights. Not sure how I feel about it yet. I stripped the paint off the bumper and the chrome was in terrible condition so I just did a quick rattle can job to get an idea on what it would look like. 3CE37520-83FF-4D49-8B0F-C147A799E932.jpeg
