been tinkering with the new maverick this weekend, took the tail lights off and glassbeaded them, then repainted them flat black. Started checking all the lights and noticed that the blinkers were week and the emergency flasher isn't working at all. :hmmm:
do the side markers flash with the turn signal?...this one does. I can't remember if they are suppose too...old age it sucks.....
Since the emergency flasher isn't working either it leads me to think it is the column switch....
    Any toughts....

the lights ground through the housing, so make sure you have good metal to metal contact there. I sometimes get a light that won't flash, so I go to the taillight, and just twist the light socket in the housing and it rubs a bit and makes a better metal-to-metal connection. Works every time.
