Definitely. I'm going to be out of town for the next 6mo to a year for business. Also, everything I want is priceeee. Stacking up the money, also fighting on buying a motorcycle because 100$ in gas for my truck every three days gets spend especially when you're doing 1500 miles plus a week.
Picked up a grabber hood. Lip is rusted out, but not. Worried as will be extend ing the hood by about3 "
65$ -- Im not the best artist, but think you'll give the visual aspect of what I am thinkin. Here is a idea that I had so I sketched it out, then transferred it to line drawing via Illustrator. Idea's?
Looks too gaudy with the cowl, and the scoops. Plus a cowl hood is for a Chevy, and unless you actually need the clearance, a stock hood looks better.
I agree, to a degree... I think it would look more visually pleasing by having the back section of the grabber vent roll more seamlessly into the top portion of the cowl. The front section before the vent would be ok if it was a little sharp, but the base would have to follow the body line how it rolls into the peak and sharp at top.
There are a few pics of my hood (made by Jimmy) in my gallery, I will taking mine off and going back to stock hood sometime soon
Been working so much out of town, haven't been able to do much. While I was home for a few days I messed around with how high the cowl I wanted. Hopefully I can get a few things going soon.
I'm still alive, business has kept me out of town for the past 9mo. I am picking up a few things here and there. hope all is well, don't forget about me
