Tom, what is the shiney looking stuff that is behind your rear seat in pic 4 of post #24? Where did you get it? I need something like that.
Jamie, got it at OSH Comes in 2' and 4' wide, I used the 4' wide stuff cost $4.00 a ft It's nice , just can't think of what they call it, will check for you next time I go to OSH. I can send you a small sample if You'd like. Tom
Cool, yea let me know what its called next time you go back. Never heard of OSH. Seats look real good!
Tom; very nice. I'm waiting for the upholstery guy to finish my seats. They will be in Charcoal and light gray. I'll put up some pics when I get the seats....hopefully this weekend.
the shiney stuff looks like dynamat or a likewise product, good for sound deadning and heat dedflection
ATO, it all depends on the baby seat. most of them will destroy your headliner though. and some will tear up your upholstry. 72grabber, my 12 year old kid is always trying to school me on computers even though i make my living on em and he just barely knows how to surf the web. just remind him that its good he knows how to wrench cause he'll be doing it a lot while your out driving and smiling:evilsmile
I got it at OSH , it's like bubble wrap covered in aluminum foil, guess it's used for wrapping duct work. Reason I picked it was because I was redoing the trunk also, which I painted with Rust-Oleum silver "Hammered" finsh , it's like POR 15, meaning you can paint over rust.It looks real nice. Guess you guys want pictures of that too?
Tom, the seats look real nice. cant wait to see em in the car. what part of the bay are you in? n,s,e,w? you going to be at the reno meet? if so, are you giong to bring all three cars?
Sierra: As of today (and for the last 18 years) have lived on Comet Dr. in Foster City, but I am moving next week to South San Francisco, I'll be right under "Sign Hill" if you know what that is. As far as Reno goes, Yes I plan on being there if all the planning goes well with the meet, there is at this time no set date etc. I have 3 1971 Mavericks and 1 1971 Comet, now how in the hell could I get all them to Reno at one time? I voted for Sacramento ( that way I could have had all 4 cars there) Reason I could do this was because my daughter lives there and i could shuttle a car at a time and leave them at her house, sure can't do that in Reno. What is the latest on the Reno meet anyway
Tom, Seats look great. They do cusom colors??? I will need to get my back seat matched to the "ProCar Rally" Seats I bought for the frt.
Yes i know whereabouts you speak of in south san. hope your able to afford away from the rougher parts of that area.well i wouldnt ask you to trust any of my friends or relatives to drive one of your cars but im sure youd get lots of volunteers for a weekend in reno. im waiting on a date myself, really hoping for the late july one they were talking about (mainly so theres no snow left on the passes for you guys). look forward to seeing you there even if you only bring one.
