Upper control arm squeak

    Spring mounts I've taken apart had mounting shaft pressed into rubber bushing and would rotate. Even if it takes 50-75 lbs to rotate, the small amount it moves, I doubt the 650 lb + springs cares. Again spring mount has ZERO effect on camber in hard turns while rubber mounted control arm will deflect.

    Sure glad you posted those pics. The extra material on the ends was what was rubbing my shock towers. Weird thing is, it doesn't do it on the passenger side.

    Well then obviously something is wrong with your passenger side tower. LOL

    That's a thought, uniformity from side to side. Not likely.

    On a second look, it is touching on the passenger side but very lightly as compared to drivers. Who knows, could even be a small difference in the control arm.
