75 runs on unleaded gas so you are OK.

I don't know a whole lot about C4's ... but the 200 C4 is mechanically weaker than the 250/V8 C4 ... Perhaps you could have it rebuilt stronger ... I'm am not sure but you would definitely need a different bellhousing ... 170/200 engines have a different bell than the 250/302 bell ... you will also need a 302 torque convertor and flexplate.

Perhaps you should just let me have that car for $350 and you can keep looking for a 302/C4 car that would have every part that you need. At this point you have a lot of piecing together to do! :)

    I'll sell you the engine for $100 ... :)

You can, but it's probably better to get a V8 trans. I have a spare bell housing laying around that is the original out of my '74 Grabber with a 250/C4. It will work for you if you decide to keep your current trans. let me know if your intrested.

Tks, Jamie, for the offer. I will let you know after I pick up the Mav if I will need it, or if I will get an auto v8 tranny. Btw, what does a v8 auto tranny rebuilt from autozone cost?

And, dmhines, thanks for the offer. I will wait until I get the Mav before I decide what to do with the car (minus the 302).

I spoke to the Seller today for the first time. Very nice fellow. Said he drove the Mav home for an hour when he bought it two months ago, said the ac was aftermarket, blows cold and that the green interior was in good condition, shudda taken interior pics but didn't think about it.

Anyone know anthing about, or have done, a fuel injection kit?

Is it easy/hard to swap over an aftermarket ac to my no-ac car?
