vibration

    it bolted together and yes im using the torque converter from the 250 but i dont think that has anything to do with the problem

    Could it be that the engine from the 85 F-150 had been swapped out prior and they put an older (28 oz) engine in it? I have seen this many times. Then when you put the 50 oz flywheel on it is where the vibration came from.

    id the other flywheel that you took off and make sure its a 50oz

    ok so today i took my car in to my uncles shop to put it on the lift i removed the oil pan and so that the crankshaft was 50oz so since i had already replaced the harmonic balancer i knew that wasnt it so i procceded to remove the starter so i could see the serial number on the block and i decoded it and its from an 86 so then i removed the flywheel and it wasnt a 50oz!! apparently my dad bought a 157 tooth flywheel but not a 50oz!!
