    Yep you're right... :yup:

Since Pearson was my man and arguably the best driver in NASCAR(even if he is 2nd to Richard Petty), anytime I hear Spartianburg I automatically think of him...

On the 2nd to Petty, Pearson entered far less races so didn't chalk up as many wins...

Hey there Paul, I finally made it back to that classic car junkyard I talked about. There are now a total of 6 Mavericks and 2 Comets out there now. I got all VIN numbers for you, and also some pictures I can post later if you'd like. No cars were power brake cars, and I don't believe any were disc brake cars(some had spindles removed)

    4K31L505661 - 1974 Comet, Brown(repaint) 2 Door, 6cyl, LDO car
2K91L178261 - 1972 Maverick, White, 2 door, 6 cyl, has 4 door LDO bucket seats and newer door panels, 5 lug
    4K30L534553 - 1974 Comet, Dark Green, 4 door, 6 cyl(engine/trans missing), bench seat, 5 Lug
3K91T206987 - 1973 Maverick, Blue, 2 door, 6cyl, bench seat, unknown lugs(axle and spindles missing)
    0K91T191367 - 1970 Maverick, White, 2 door, 6 cyl
    2K92F215257 - 1972 Maverick, Green, 4 door, v8, bench seat
4K92L103614 - 1974 Maverick, Yellow, 4 door, 6cyl, LDO buckets and flawless grill, 5 lug
    2K91L139028 - 1972 Maverick, Blue, 2 Door, 4 lug bench seat car

As far as I know, most cars in this yard are purchase-able, and the yard can acquire titles for most. So I don't know if you would like to ad them as RIP cars or regular entries. However:
2K91L178261 has had the whole front suspension ripped out (control arm mounts, strut rod mounts, etc), so is scrap.
4K30L534553 Has a caved in roof.
4K31L505661 has a rusted through roof in places but a good body.
3K91T206987 small fender bender in rear, but saveable if wanted.
    0K91T191367 very respectable shape
2K92F215257 hit in front, bad bumper and grill. Spindles gone, v8 parts pulled by me, fairly picked over.
4K92L103614 pretty darn good shape, but window left down so interior kinda messy.
2K91L139028 Very excellent body other than a bad driver door. I bought the rear window

Thank you so much for going back and sharing these. You know, we ALWAYS love pictures, so bring them on!! The 1970 you listed actually appears to be a 1969.5 (ignition switch on dash).

Vins: 4K92L103614, 2K91L139028 I have a ton more pictures of this cool old yard, but probably shouldn't clutter up this thread with them.
