1974 Boston, near MIT, My mother is driving and me & my sister are in the back seat.
It was a 74 Maverick, 6 cylinder, most basic version. We had the car for 10 years. Took it to Europe and travelled all Europe with it. I learned how to drive in it. Parents sold it in 1985.

 

Well kind of a necro post but still worth posting. In 1982 I was attached to the USS Kitty Hawk CV-63, Hole Snipe. After our last West Pac the Hawk was headed to Bremerton Wa. for dry dock, also known as bummer town where all the women weight a bremer ton. The ships Captain allowed all hands to bring their families as their vehicles on board for the trip from San Diego to Bremerton. Here are a few pics, the Beast is in the first pic.

 

This appears to be a Maverick.
