water coolant leak

    Removing the transmission with the car on jack stands isn't fun. Getting it back in is even less fun.

    If you don't have the hood off yet, you can mark the position of the hinges with two 1/8" holes drilled thru each hinge. Makes it easy to get the hood back where it belongs.

    Well we took the hood off the day we brought it home. Lucky for us we marked it! ;-)

    Thank you that seems to be exactly where its leaking! I can always hope anyway. But even a head gasket isn't a big seal ether. Thanks!

    Quick question. Can you get these core plugs at any auto parts store? I'm assuming you can since they are pretty common motors. How many total are there?
