This is odd too, mine are NOS Ford.I havent looked at this stuff in 2 years, guess I got them somewhere other than AK.let me try RPS and see what I can come up with, lots of that stuff is through Dennis Carpenter/Steel rubber products and so on.
Just so there is no confusion. here is what I am talking about. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ford...240545935QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item140240545935&
yes those are window glass guides. They keep the glass from over running the window channel weatherstripping due to the curvature of the glass and the shape of the window frame.
Looks like the only possible source for the correct weather stripping might be steel rubber products.dennis Carpenter does not re-produce them.If you have a kit from AutoKrafters, anything in the kit bagged with a ford licensing sticker on the bag comes from Dennis Carpenter.
Just checked Steels' website. No window channel run.Hopefully someone will chime in with something we dont know about.
weather stripping Hi I saw the thread about weather stripping so i thought I would ask here , I was recently given a 1973 maverick from my Dad and he has taken all the weather stripping and windows out of the car . I would like to know where I could go to get a "WeatherStripping KIT" or a site where i could buy all the rubber i need to get her going again ...any help here would be very much appreciated.
