    I have a 9 inch from a car and was thinking of narrowing it and using it. I have heard the 8 inch can handle a decent bit also.

    I think originally they came with door handles and door locks :biglaugh:

    The welded seams look very good, however it would be much more work and more expensive if the rocker panel ever needs to be repaired or replaced in the future.

    Hands down, welded seam wins. If Ford could have welded and filled the seam without slowing down the production line, i think this is the way the car would have been made. It marries the front and rear of the car, overall it looks like a more solid car welded up. When done right, like Sampsons car, it looks tough as all get out.
