    The 12 ton stands I ended up buying feel like they weigh 6 tons..

    Them 12's must be super tall on lowest setting.

    I got 3's and 6's. I,m beginning to not thrust those prunny littles 3's.

    I have 2500HD 4X4 that has failed every fluid carrying line on the undercarriage. I have to get it jacked VERY high to replace all of the fuel lines ( already replaced all of the brake, tranny cooler and engine oil cooler lines). It hasn't popped a washer fluid line yet, but that's coming.

    Those 12K stands are the most robust stands I have ever owned. I feel as you do in regards to the 3K stands.
