Sounds like they're all under legal drinking age too. Was the world this full of idiots before the internet or is it just that now they have a world wide stage upon which to show their ignorance and illiteracy?

yes that does happen , but like shadowmaster said , C clip elims and a parachute???!???

im mean im sure theres nothing wrong with C clip elims but for the power he was throwing at it and how hard he was launching, my opinion just put a super strong 9 inch in there and be done with it....just my .02

For the record, I posted the link for the "interest factor" - not to make fun of some guy's mishap. It's not often you see TWO wheels come off. "Budget Racing" (like what most of us do) can jump up and bite us in the arse. 'The guy probably spent all his 9"-money on horsepower.

IMHO, it wasn't a hillarious clip. If someone gets a chuckle out of it, that's okay too.

Cool...got any pics of the car? What kind of rear suspension? Is it one of the tube-chassis cars? Did you do the chassis yourself? What about pics of the rear suspension? I'm always curious to see set-ups and how folks put that kind of power to the ground...

    What about the engine/trans combo?

    Thanks,

Car was a stock suspension 88 mustang gt..Lemme see if I have pics...It was a 347 sbf with as Carb blow thru X trim vortech supercharger,Powerglide combo with 3.55 rear gears...I also raced a true street series here in Melbourne and orlando Fl,So I had to cruise it 30 plus miles then run heads up..It was a fun car but I had to sell it cause I started a business and needed some capitol...But I always wanted another Mav and this one hopefully will be just as fast..

i definately agree with you guys about the people on this site. Shadow, its mostly the internet letting the idiots get out into the real world now to spread their idiocy. There are people out there who should stick to yelling their moronic insults at the screen, but unfortunately they recieved a keyboard:slap:

I have seen my fair share of axles break and I can remember 4 or 5 outside the bearing (one was a 8 sec 57 chevy big tires 9inch everything) normally on our little shorthorns they break in the splines or break driveshafts the second axle wasn't broken till it bounced 3 or 4 times.

as for the video submitter what a tard.. he had no idea what he was seeing must be a honda owner and hates and seeths anything faster then his 17 sec winged 900 bolt on hp civic.

Have to remember guys nobody raised these kids on american hp.. mommy and daddy bought japanese cars.. nobody to blame but ourselves..
