I also met another guy who said his friend had what was called a "Mod Maverick" ... said he bought it brand new at Sealy (sic) Ford in Michigan. He described it as being similar to the Bearcat .. Big Wheels with Wide Tires, Side Pipes, etc ... Said I never heard of that one .. Anyone else hear of a special Mod Maverick?
Yes...I have heard of a Mod Maverick. Rudy Bidlack's car was a Mod Maverick....and he bought it new. He has pictures of what it used to look like.

I don't have a picture. It had side pipes, alum slots, and said Mod Maverick on the rear quarters. Very sililar to a Bearcat Comet.

Well Seelye Ford still exists in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I sent them an email today asking if they had any information on a "Mod Maverick" that they sold in the 70's ... waiting to hear back ...
