I would love to post a picture guys but the car is buried in a storage facility for the winter and access is denied until at least April. The tires are sitting in my storage room. I swear to you they do fit and I think they look awesome.
As I stated earlier the car has a slight lift thanks to the shackle lift but I don't have any problems with the tires touching the car. About the only time the car will touch the tires is if you hit a good bump or have the car loaded down...... the only reason the tires won't touch the frame is because I am running a 15x10, I imagine that you have your 275/60r15 on a 15x8 rim which will not have the same offset. I bet if you went to a 15x10 your gonna find you have a bit more room. however I do believe that your 60 series tire will be a little taller than my 50 series. I wasn't worried about the height as much as I was the width..... I love big fat tires. You will also find that different makes of tires (ie bf goodrich, goodyear, etc) even though they may both read p205/55r15 (my fronts btw) there will be a difference in size from make to make. When I ordered the tires last year I was gonna go with goodyear for front and rear...... well the couldn't get my tire size for the rear in Goodyear (nothing in Canada) so then I went with Bf Goodrich (next day)..... now I have two different sets of tires front and back... so this summer I am gonna put the front tires on the back at the annual burnout competition for an excuse to go buy matching Bf Goodrich
Running a 15x8.5 A 10" rim will give me less bulge but the tire would be on the spring for sure! Scotty P
it all depends on your back spacing, mine is a -44 offset soon as this spring comes I mount the tires back on and take pictures of the space I have around the wheel well
I jave the max BS possible on a centerline 15/8.5 4 7/8" Any more and I am on the springs, any less and I am out of the fender lip. Scotty
