I cleaned up the light bulb buckets of my 67 Impala tail lights and primed them with self etching primer - it was actually nice enough to paint outside yesterday:bananaman

This week I put the chuck in with the new 4.11 gears. I changed the spark plugs. All eight of the old ones were burning nice and tan, so I stayed with the Autolite 45's
I installed the replated boomerangs I bought on E-bay. I'm installing KYB shocks up front. I had to remove the coil spring boosters to get the shocks in. I'm going to put the front wheels back on with a couple of lug nuts, to see if I like the look without the boosters in. I changed the oil and put in a pint of Lucas Oil Zinc additive. I used Napa 20-50 Performance Oil and a Napa Gold oil filter, as recomended here on the site.

you're not one of thoes Guys that carry a knife and don't use it because you don't want to dull it, are you...:yup:
had a Guy at work like that. he had a bad a$$ pocket knife he paid $70 for. it would shave the hair on his arm...wouldn't cut anything with it because he didn't want to dull it. yet, he set in the breakroom sharpening it all the time. I gues it got dull just shaving his arm...

    ...:rofl2:...

Well I'm not in Scouts anymore, let's put it that way... I carry a military surplus Gerber multi-tool. The "tactical black" finish has worn off in a few places, I've replaced the wire cutter blades a few times, the Philips screwdriver is a little worn, the big flat screwdriver's broken, the straight blade is nicked, the serrated blade is dull, it blackens the insides of my pockets and hands, and it smells like a disemboweled car.
